Arabian Cement Company Global Energy Management Implementation Case Study

ACC is the first cement plant in Egypt certified with ISO 50001

This case study describes how the adoption of an EnMS at ACC has proven to have several direct and indirect benefits. The direct benefits can be summarized in the achieved energy savings and associated GHG reduction: total energy performance improvement by 72,417 MWh representing 1.8% from the baseline (1.5% heat consumption reduction, 4.4% power consumption reduction) and corresponding GHG reduction 127,147 tCO2e (15% from baseline).

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Global Energy Management Implementation Case Study

ADNOC saved US $150 million in energy costs through its corporate EnMS since 2014

This case study describes how ADNOC has received many benefits from its EnMS. So far, its energy performance has improved 6% from the 2014 baseline. In terms of energy, this is equivalent to 57 billion cubic feet of natural gas or 60 million gigajoules.

LG Chem, Ltd. Global Energy Management Implementation Case Study

Improved Energy Performance 9.39% due to the implementation of EnMS in 2014

This case study describes how LG Chem, Ltd. Ochang plant, which produces Acrylic film for LCD modules and Lithium-Ion batteries, successfully implemented an Energy Management System (EnMS) in 2014. As a result of a monthly report assessment of its energy use and GHG, the Ochang plant achieved energy cost reduction by 13% ($9.5 million) in 2014 and by 11% ($7.0 million) in 2015.

Cummins Inc. Global Energy Management Implementation Case Study

Cummins achieves 20% energy performance improvement through Corporate EnMS Enterprise

This case study describes how Cummins successfully implemented an EnMS through their Corporate Enterprise approach, which resulted in a combined energy performance improvement of 20.25 percent by 2015 from a 2010 baseline. Their total annual savings are equal to $3,541,365 and 352,434 MMBTU, or 39,740 metric tons of CO2e reduction.
