Knowledge and Skills Needed to Implement Energy Management Systems in Industry and Commercial Buildings

This multi-country analysis examines workforce programs for EnMS professionals in five of eleven GSEP countries: Australia, Japan, Republic of Korea, South Africa, and the United States. This report identifies relevant knowledge and skills for key personnel that can influence energy management decisions and identifies common professional development models such as awareness raising, continuing education, and professional credentialing programs. Noteworthy examples from additional GSEP countries, including Canada, are also included.
