In April, the Clean Energy Solutions Center launched cleanenergysolutions.org, an online clearinghouse for tools and resources on best practices in clean energy policy. The Super-Efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) initiative launched superefficient.org, an online hub providing technical resources and news related to appliance and equipment efficiency.

There’s a well-documented gender gap for women in science and engineering, or women in the "STEM" fields of science, technology, engineering and math. The numbers are stark: women hold only 27 percent of the science and engineering jobs in the United States, and there’s a shortage of women in energy policy as well.
