Solar and Wind Energy Resource Assessment Programme’s Renewable Energy Resource Explorer

The Solar and Wind Energy Resource Assessment (SWERA) programme’s Renewable Energy Resource Explorer (RREX) is a Web-based map viewer that displays data from SWERA, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) renewable resource assessment program. The viewer allows users to select any location in the world and display annual average estimates for the solar and wind resource and climate data at the location. Downloadable monthly average data are also available for each location along with information about the data sources.
