The Asia-Pacific Renewable Energy Assessment (APREA) provides an overview of current and possible future costs of renewable electricity generation in selected reference economies: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Australia. The Australian Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics has undertaken an assessment of the cost of renewable electricity generation through reviewing country specific literature and applying the Australian Energy Technology Assessment (AETA) model. The APREA report also assesses the technical and policy issues related to the integration of renewable electricity generation into existing electricity networks.
