Assessment of Policy Instruments for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Buildings: Summary and Recommendations

This report provides an appraisal of the instruments available for improving energy efficiency in buildings in order to assist policymakers in the decision process. Twenty of the most important instruments were chosen and comparatively evaluated in this study based on concrete case studies. This document presents a summary of findings on effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of these instruments.
