This report aims to provide insight to policymakers, building owners, and other market actors regarding the ways in which new and innovative business models and policy measures can stimulate the deployment of renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures in the built environment. Focusing on 10 different business models, the report analyzes their organizational and financial structures, their market and policy contexts, and their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
