The Indian Ministry of Small Scale Industries Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme represents a funding strategy to drive technology improvement in small industry. The program aims to help 45 small industries upgrade technology to become more productive and competitive, including through strategies that enhance energy efficiency. The primary financial mechanism is access to credit and upfront capital subsidies of 15%. Various lenders, parameters, and conditions for loans, as well as monitoring within each industry are outlined.
