Towards Universal Energy Access: Tanzania (Workshop Report)

This report summarizes a workshop held 10–11 February 2015, which aimed to (1) provide a forum for soliciting input from private and non-profit civil society stakeholders into the development of Tanzania’s Sustainable Energy for All country action plan development process and (2) highlight recent progress by private sector actors in providing off-grid electrification solutions and services in the Tanzanian context, and to explore mechanisms to leverage private capital that can bring these decentralized energy solutions to scale.
