Electric Mobility: Emerging Economies to EV Charging Infrastructure and Tools
From 16 January to 16 January 2025
Virtual
Webinar
Date: January 16, 2025
Time: 9:00 – 10:00 AM EST (UTC-5)
This session, supported by Clean Energy Ministerial initiatives, the Clean Energy Solutions Center (CESC) and the Electric Vehicle Initiative, is aimed at sharing knowledge and building capacity in electric mobility, with a focus on international contexts and emerging economies. The discussion will cover critical topics such as EV infrastructure planning and sustainable transport. Attendees will gain practical insights on tools like NREL’s EVI-Pro for planning and grid integration, alongside lessons from CESC’s technical assistance. Additionally, we will talk through publicly accessible tools, including EVI-Pro Lite, the IEA load profile tool, and others, exploring how they can be used and adapted for international contexts. This is an opportunity to learn how emerging economies can tackle challenges and adopt innovative solutions to advance electric mobility, as well as best tools for modeling in international contexts.
Speakers will include:
- Brennan Borlaug, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Kevin Xue, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Diana Galperin, U.S. Department of Energy
- Aaron Ng, U.S. Department of Energy
