Alejandro Silva

Alejandro Silva is Chemical Engineer from the University of Concepción, Chile and MSc in Advanced Chemical Process Design, University of Manchester, England. He is coordinator of the Mining and Industry sector at the Energy Efficiency Division, Ministry of Energy, Chile. And, he has been working on public policies to encourage energy efficiency in large energy-intensive consumers, especially the mining sector, while focusing on energy audits and energy management systems. He also has developed financial instruments to promote energy efficiency projects in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, including energy services companies (ESCOs).
