Benjamin Curnier

Benjamin heads up the Carbon Trust’s Southern African office in Pretoria, South Africa. He is responsible for establishing and growing the Carbon Trust’s operations in Southern Africa, in charge of business development and delivery. Prior to this, Benjamin was providing technical and strategic assistance to the NBI (National Business Initiative) as it implemented the Private Sector Energy Efficiency (PSEE) Programme in South Africa. This programme aimed to improve energy efficiency in commercial and industrial companies in South Africa through the provision of services to assist companies in identifying and implementing energy saving measures. Benjamin joined the Carbon Trust from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked as a consultant within their strategy group. He holds a Masters in Aerospace Engineering with French from Bath University.
