Christina Becker-Birck has supported numerous jurisdictions with reducing barriers to private sector investment in the sustainable energy sector through financial mechanism and policy design, pilot program development, capacity building and implementing stakeholder engagement processes. Through the Clean Energy Solutions Center, she has supported more than 20 governments and international agencies, including Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, CARICOM, Colombia, France, Grenada, Kisumu County (Kenya), the Organization of American States and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Expert support includes developing solar PV tendering documents for Colombia, benchmarking Grenada’s National Energy Policy against best practice design, reviewing the U.S. Virgin Island’s feed-in tariff policy and designing a renewable energy policy training series for the island’s elected officials. She has published dozens of reports and regularly delivers seminars, lectures and trainings on renewable energy internationally. Christina holds a joint MPP and MPA from the London School of Economics and the Hertie School of Governance.
