David I. McGeown

David is a seasoned international project developer with over 30 years of experience in implementing energy programs across the world. David’s skills span research and development, sales and marketing, and construction with oil companies, technology companies, the U.S. federal government, Caribbean Nations and utility companies. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.

He is a Principal at McGeown Associates, LLC., a woman-owned small business dedicated to stewarding resources for future generations by applying our skills and experience to generating renewable energy and reducing energy consumption. McGeown Associates provides strategic and tactical support to governments, utilities and end users for a wide range of energy and facility issues. Primary engagements include energy, strategic planning and execution support for the U.S. Army Office of Energy Initiatives, the U.S. Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the government of Belize.

David is currently focused on opportunities that combine financing and technology to help develop new techniques for implementing clean energy projects within the rapidly evolving utility infrastructure.
