Meghan Sapp

Meghan Sapp is founder and Managing Director of PlanetEnergy, a renewable energy company based in Spain that is responsible for developing “energy communities”, integrated renewable energy systems for urban, rural and industrial communities. PlanetEnergy is her third successful renewable energy start-up. She is also Senior Editor for Biofuels Digest and Sugaronline.com. Previously, Meghan was Secretary General of PANGEA—Partners for Euro-African Green Energy, based in Brussels. For more than 10 years, she has been advising companies and government agencies on biofuel investment and policy in Africa while developing innovative and sustainable business models for renewable energy implementation in those markets and mentoring entrepreneurs to set up their own ventures in their countries of origin.
