Stéphanie Nour

Ms. Stéphanie Nour is a senior expert with more than 20 years of experience in various energy efficiency related sectors, including the development and operation of energy service companies (ESCOs), project development and implementation under the ESCO approach, the development of demand-side management (DSM) programs, the development of building codes and energy efficiency standards for various appliances, the set-up of innovative financing mechanisms for the implementation of energy efficiency projects, the design and evaluation of energy efficiency programs, market assessment and market research, development and review of measurement and verification (M&V) plans and the development of capacity building and training programs in all energy efficiency topics. Additionally, Ms. Nour is a seasoned trainer in relation with the energy efficiency sector, having conducted numerous seminars and trainings in various countries worldwide such as the Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) of the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO). She also has solid experience in managing large multi-disciplinary and multi-country teams.

Her international experience has led her to work in more than 40 countries, on projects carried out or financed by international institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, the United Nations (UNDP, UNEP, UNDESA) and with bilateral or multilateral development organizations such as the German Development Bank (KfW), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Ms. Nour has also worked for several important electric utilities including CEMIG (Brazil), Petrobras (Brazil) Demaz (Hungary), Electricity of Portugal (EDP), HEP (Croatia), UTE (Uruguay), Hydro-Québec and the Société Tunisienne de l’Électricité et du Gaz (STEG).
