Energy Efficiency for Energy Access: Latest Trends and Innovations

The Clean Energy Solutions Center, in partnership with United Nations Foundation’s Energy Access Practitioner Network, hosted this webinar on the topic of energy efficiency for energy access. The webinar focused on the latest trends and innovations in appliance efficiency and their role in increasing access to clean, reliable and low-cost energy. The webinar panelists—Sam Grant, Regional Lead for East Africa at CLASP and Maja Gajic, Project Manager at Fosera—discussed how energy efficiency can be a driver for providing energy access, and and participants learned how prevalent models can be translated and improved in the journey to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7.
