In India, concerns have risen over the quality and safety of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their installation due to the absence of quality standards and a focus on low prices. Poor-quality products and system execution result in lower energy output and shorter lifespans, impacting investor returns and safety. This report aims to enhance confidence in rooftop PV systems, particularly small ones, by offering insights, best practices, and potential solutions based on expert interviews and stakeholder workshops.
