Integrated Resource Planning
Integrated resource planning establishes a protocol and strategy for incorporating of new types of energy into a given system. It is typically applied by utilities or other energy planning/management organizations. Resource integration planning takes into account the technology, generation profile, location, fuel considerations, access to transmission and distribution, and other considerations.
