Green Banks

Green banks are typically public-private partnerships that bring in both public and private sector capital targeting clean energy investments. To date, green banks have primarily been deployed in Australia, Europe, Japan, Malaysia and the United States. Green banks can provide a variety of investment vehicles such as loans, leases, credit enhancements, and securities.
