Angel
Angel investors are typically wealthy individuals or funds that provide equity or mezzanine finance in the early business development cycle, usually before venture capital investments. Angel investments are high risk/high return and may be motivated by objectives other than solely profit. Angel investments do not take place in public trading markets but may be facilitated through crowd funding platforms.
