Balance Sheet

Balance sheet investments can take the form of cash, equity (stock) or debt (corporate bond or loan), and they may be available to larger developers, utilities, independent power producers, and corporations. Balance sheet financing is an alternative to project financing in which any recourse stops at the project level. Small and medium enterprises may have a more difficult time making significant investments via their balance sheets.
