Technology Solutions

Technology solutions can be leveraged to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities at the intersection of the energy, water and food sectors. These solutions integrate the use of energy, water and food resources to develop positive cross-sectoral outcomes. Integrated technology solutions can include such activities as building elevated solar panels to allow the use of underlying land to grow crops and harvesting rainfall from the panels for crop irrigation. Technology can also help improve the efficiency of energy and water use, and can reduce land-use impacts associated with agriculture.
