Pro-Poor Energy Access Technical Assistance Programs (Website)

The Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) is a global knowledge and technical assistance program administered by The World Bank. ESMAP’s Pro-Poor Energy Access program assists low- and middle-income countries to increase expertise and institutional capacity to achieve sustainable energy access. Subcomponents of the Pro-Poor Energy Access program include the Rural Electrification Strategies/Africa Electrification Initiative, Energy Small and Medium Enterprise Development, and Gender and Energy Development Capacity Building.
