Redesigning Energy for People and Planet

The April 2023 World Energy Pulse is a survey by the World Energy Council that highlights global energy leaders’ concerns. The study found that 64% of global energy leaders expressed concerns about the slow pace of the energy transition, hindering UNFCCC Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goal commitments. The report highlights the need for deeper decarbonization, which will depend on innovation across sectors and new models of shared and circular economy.
