Solar

Solar power refers to energy generated through absorption of the sun’s rays. Sunlight can be converted to energy directly using photovoltaics, concentrating solar and solar thermal technologies, or indirectly through passive solar building design strategies. Large-scale solar arrays require significant land area and can impact ecosystems and land availability. Solar technologies also require water in their manufacture and for cleaning during operation.
